Looks Good.
Solid survival gear. It takes a minute to get it back into it’s sack, but there are work-arounds for that.

Lightweight and packable
These are nice and lightweight. Not an issue to just throw it in my backpacking pack for emergencies. I haven’t needed it yet but it came in perfect condition. And honestly in an emergency something is better than nothing. If I ever end up needing it I’ll come update my review.

Great emergency tent.
Nice and compact; simple and functional. Make sure to pay attention to how it unfolds if you want to put it back in the bag. There are a million folds and it would certainly be a nightmare in the wind. However, this is an emergency tent so don’t expect frills or luxury. Para-cord ends will need to be redone to prevent fraying. Final photo was after I folded it back up and put it away (no photos of the tent deployed because I didn’t fully open it up). I laid it out on the floor and it’s the same material as an emergency blanket (mylar, I believe).I ordered this tent twice. The first arrived with a broken sliding spring lock. They were very quick to provide a replacement and the owner sent follow-up emails to ensure complete customer satisfaction.All-in-all: Great product for the price! Now, I just hope I don’t need to use it ha.

Could save your life
Don’t go into this thinking it’s a cheap tent alternative, this is not that. It’s a bare minimum, keep you a live, survival shelter. Set it up to check dimensions and make sure everything was good, material is definitely not the strongest, and in a storm you’d need to find extra ways to fasten to your ridgeline, but in an emergency, it could absolutely keep you safe and alive. Reflects heat well, I couple this with a sleeping pad and a wool blanket, as well as a poncho that doubles as a tarp to block off one entrance. It’s not luxurious, hell, at 6’3″ and 240lbs, it’s not even comfortable, but it does the job.

Amazing!! PERFECT! Compact, Sturdy, Lightweight
I absolutely love this!! It’s lightweight and compact- like super compact!! Exactly what I was looking for! If space and weight are precious real estate in your pack like they are in mine this will not disappoint. Not to mention it’s durable!! I don’t know what this is made of but it’s strong stuff!! I’m not gonna say it can’t be ripped or torn if snagged or cut but I can tell you it would take some effort!! I’m so glad I decided to add this to my emergency pack. Ideally I hope I never have to use it, I don’t normally plan on being stuck somewhere without shelter but you never know, the peace of mind alone of knowing if the worst case scenario plays out I’ve got a quick and easy shelter to stay dry and warm is worth 10x’s the price. I will buy more to add to the rest of my family’s packs.

This tent does not live up to NASA standards at all!
My son and I were so excited to purchase this tent in case of an emergency might happen that this tent would save our lives! When our packaged arrived we went right outside in the woods to set up our tent and test it out. There was a light steady breeze that day and the tent was violently blowing and whipping around in the light breeze. We finally after some doing were able to tie the paracord around two pine trees and set our tent up. As I was entering the tent to see how warm it would keep you, I noticed a puncture hole in the side of my tent. So I stuck my finger in the hole to check and see if it was really a hole, because on the product information on the website its says this tent is indestructible and it wont tear or puncture. My finger ended up going through the hole and becoming even bigger. The tent is so thin you can see through it. Thats why when a black bear comes running out of the woods to attack you can see him coming. We live in the woods so we know all about the dangers of wild life. One time we set up this tent the wind blew it up into some trees and it looked like a garbage bag got blown up into the tree branches. In fact I think it would be better if you just wrapped yourself up in a garbage bag instead of buying this tent to keep you warm and safe. This is not a real emergency tent its a tent to set up in your backyard for your 6 year old daughter who is having a tea party to serve as a shade from the sun. This tent would make a good welcome mat at your front door of your house so your guests can wipe there muddy shoes off before entering your home. This tent would be better used as an emergency flag on a ship if the ship got into some disaster or something. This tent would be better used as a pair of emergency pants if you were on a long family vacation and you were in the middle of no where and couldnt find a restroom. This would make a great emergency raft in case you fell overboard on your cruise ship vacation. And finally this tent should be sold as the number one portable on the go emergency sleeping bag/ body bag. And remember everyone, whatever you do, DONT DIE IN THE WOODS.

It comes in a very small package. It is just too small and I suspect it cannot be good stuff for emergency use.So I return it before opening and ruining it.

Lightweight but …
I tried this tent out for the first time on a camping trip with family. It is very lightweight and compact out of the package. I was happy to see the bottom was a solid piece instead of having ends that needed tucked under. It has a sleeve to thread the rope through before tying it up – a bit of a challenge but advantageous. A twin size thick air mattress fit inside snuggly – not necessarily a survival item but nice for camping. The 2 main issues I have with this tent are the open ends which, while allowing for a breeze, also allow bugs in and it’s difficulty in folding back to it’s original size.

Best in class for an affordable survival shelter
TL;DR: Pack- and user-friendly, ‘best in class’ for an affordable survival shelter.Quality item, well-sized, durable and puncture-resistant material. There are obvious limits to this kind of gear, but respect those limits and this shelter can handle a fair share of misuse and abuse. As per Murphy’s Law, anything can be destroyed, but in the class of ‘survival tents’ the Go Time Life Tent rates highly in idiot-proofness. My rigorously scientific research includes setting it up in our back yard and letting my kids and wife at it. They’ve shredded other advertised ‘indestructible’ shelters, tarps, other gear, etc. (give me your indestructible knife, my wife will find a way), and the Go Time has handled it without more than a little stretching and a couple of tiny burn holes from the kids roasting s’mores a little too close to it. Like any tent, it won’t protect you from a cold ground, so remember to have an insulative layer. (No sleeping pad? Soft vegetation like leaves, turf, springy branches will do.)Of course, as a ‘survival item’ it may well spend 100% of its life packed up. On that count, the Go Time really does manage to be lighter than its competitors, and compresses easily. (I swapped the paracord for 50′ of 100# kevlar braided line and 2′ of duct tape, which lightens it further and takes up 1/3 the size of the para.) Fits inside a small Trangia mess tin with room to spare for more ‘survival gear.’ In other words, it doesn’t give you a reason to ‘leave it behind’ and not have it when you need it (which–Murphy’s Law again–will only be when you don’t have it).

Just in case..
This item arrived on time and is very neat and compact. I put it in my car and hope that I never have to use it, but am prepared in the event of an emergency. It’s sturdy and you just never know when a weather disaster or other emergency event would require the use of this tent. Price was on point, too.

This is compact and will fit easily in a back pack. I haven’t opened it to see how large it is yet, but I’m happy with how small the bag is and it will be a great item for being stuck in weather unexpectedly.

Spoiler alert!
Its a space blanket taped together that you run a cord through. Nothing special. If there are no trees around you’ve basically got a space blanket sleeping bag.

Emergency Backpack Approve!
This is not the biggest more confortable tent that money can buy, however, that’s not it’s intention either. This is an emergency tent that can easily be kept on a Back Pack.I bought this product for my emergency backpack and it fits perfectly since it’s all very tidy in a premium package. I don’t plan on using this item often since is for emergency use only, however, I feel confortable knowing that I got in my backpack. The tent includes a Whistle and is made of a water resistant material.I had some question so I proceed to contact the seller and they were very attentive.

Survival necessity and compact packaging!
Huge fan of the outdoors and prior to the pandemic, I always enjoyed camping trips and went often. Now with re-opening post pandemic and campsites back for bookings, I’m thinking twice about my camping gear. You just never know what might happen in this world so this emergency tent is great to have as backup. It comes in a nice pouch with a sturdy paracord. Only flaw is that the material is quite thin and you need something to hook both ends. I wish it was one of those self-propped tents. But overall, great to keep in your backpack for any unforeseen circumstances.

THESE SHOULD GO ON EVERY HIKE- EVERYWHERE. LIFE SAVER!
I SAW A REVIEW ON TELEVISION AND THE GUY SAID THESE TENTS ARE A PIECE OF ???? WELL HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT SURVIVAL AS I HAVE TREKED THE MOUNTAINS AT 30 BELOW ZERO. WHEN I SEE ALL THE PEOPLE GETTING STUCK ON DAY HIKES AND HYPERTHERMIA SETTING IN, THIS TENT WOULD PREVENT THAT TO A LARGE PART. YOU CAN CRAWL IN IT WITHOUT EVEN SETTING IT UP TO STORE BODY HEAT. THE MOST IMPORTANT SURVIVAL SKILL, KEEPING YOUR CORE WARM…THIS KEEPS YOU OUT OF SNOW AND RAIN AND PRESERVES BODY HEAT, I WOULD SAY 5 STARS, I DID!

dont leave home without it
I’m a Thru Hiker of the AT and PCT plus other long distance trails. I am currently teaching my wife, an indoor CPA !! how to survive in the wilderness. in the last 6 months she has evolved from novice; to being able to modestly navigate, filter water, hike with poles, layer clothing, cook in the woods, all without breaking any nails !! The next step is camping out and I wanted to teach her about emergency situations and basic wilderness first aid. This is a good, relatively compact survival tent you hope to never use but should know how to use.I will take this on any multi day trip with her and now her girlfriends as a precaution.I will also keep it in my bug out bag in the carA good overall product

That you have items that’s needed in stock right now. Thank you job well done!
I like the product because it offered what is needed for camping or any other emergency. The delivery was quick and everything seems to be in place as order. I haven’t done an inspection yet, these item will be used for emergency purposes only. If open them they may take time I don’t have right now. However, it is my plan to do an inspection very soon. They look just like the advertisement. I would recommend that everyone prepare for the unknown for the sake of your family & pets. There is nothing wrong with been prepared. I hope this helps some if not all whose thinking ahead. I will save this link and get back to you after I inspect everything. God Bless you all.

Emergency shelter tents
Love the small box packaging with clear labeling of the tent. This tent is so easy to use and at a very good price. I bought one for each family member to keep in their car trunk just in case. Especially liked the short how to use and set up video I watched before deciding to buy this particular tent- not only was this tent the best price but I discovered it can be used as a sleeping bag and several other ways to set it up as a shelter that I would not have thought of. This tent is a bargain!

Carry some duck tape.
This is a very simple setup.I does a amazing job of keeping heat in. The best advice I could give you is put your sleeping material in it first to weigh it down. Then carry duck tape Incase you get any holes in it. I would also recommend getting a bug net for it. Overall for how small and light weight it is it’s worth the money if you understand basic scout tent setup.

You won’t die
I slept out under the stars in the Badlands using only this for a blanket and grass for my pillow. It was perfect. It was July however the temps dropped to the low 60s or maybe it was high 50s at night (ferninhite). When I awoke I was surrounded by buffalo. I could have gotten myself in trouble but it is no fault of the bivy.I also slept out on a sub 30 degree night last year with this bivy. I didn’t die. I was not comfortable but I didn’t die. It’s for an emergency not comfort. If you want comfort buy a real sleep system. This is great to drop in your pack anytime you are out and about. Like wearing a seatbelt.

Good emergency shelter
This isn’t a primary shelter, it’s supposed to be an emergency solution that you can put together in a pinch, which is why I bought it. It’s made of the same material as emergency shock blankets, so it’s a thin reflective plastic material. It does a good job of reflecting your body heat but I would minimize how many times you use this. It is a cheap material but it serves its purpose as an emergency solution.

A little peace of mind!
I have not found it necessary to utilize The Life Tent, so I can’t give a full review. I have used Mylar in the past. Impressed by it’s ability to retain a bit of thermal heat. Mylar also provides a moisture barrier as long as it isn’t damaged.Purchased this item to throw into my toolbox I keep in my truck.Better to have it than not 🧐Recommended

Don’t try this when you’re not at home & definnot after a session.
I bought this delightful item as it was reasonably priced & promised practicality & minimal storage. Price is ok, storage is ok until you take it out of the pouch, then its an absolute pain in the hole to roll up & get back into said pouch but somehow it can be one by one person. The item is said to be tear resistant; well let me assure you i didn’t try to tear it & it didn’t put up much resistance. It is however excellent at retaining bodyheat which is just as well as dying from hypothermia isn’t a good way to review a product.Threading the cord through the top of the tent is nogh on impossible unless you have fingers like E.T. so thats just a big no. I referred to the instructions but there weren’t any & as I’m not Bear Grylls slumming it was the order of the day (night). And finally, don’t try crawl into this item when its dark & you’re full of sauce….See attached pic for reference.

Basic Survival
I bought this for my go bag on the recommendation of an experienced backpacker. It’s reasonably priced, small and lightweight so it fits nicely in your go bag. It is open both sides and, like most survival tents, comes without poles and stakes. I didn’t realize that when I bought it. I gave it 4 stars because it will be a challenge to set it up. It’ll require rocks to hold it down and two objects to tie it up to! If you are in the dark with no trees that won’t be possible. It’s strictly emergency, last resort. Also, It says it comes with an emergency whistle which was not included in the box. Thankfully the rope was there. I thought about returning it. It says wind and water proof but two open sides won’t afford much shelter in a storm. I decided to keep it until I can afford a lightweight freestanding tent that will offer more protection. Be aware that it will require care to set it up on level ground with nothing that will puncture it. It has great reviews but all of them noted this. It’s durable but will puncture or tear if set up on sharp rocks, twigs, etc.

Pure trash
As with all safety equipment, you MUST check them before you go. With this tent and it’s promis to save you from cold and hyperthermia there is a chance that you will be using this with frozen fingers, in a harsh environment. So you might expect this is a strong plastic tent or something. It is not. Absolutely ripped when I was just testing it in my living room. I am sorry but a garbage bag which this thing belongs to, probably has 10 times the durability for a fraction of the cost. How difficult is to not produce a TOY??.Making it as a 5 star for visibility so hopefully you are not fooled by people who give this a 5 star without even opening and inspecting it.

This emergency tent is exactly that. Just enough to offer a minimum of shelter when nothing else is available. It is literally a thin plastic sheet and some cord. BUT it is compact and lightweight. It is better than nothing. And that is what I had before ordering this– NOTHING.I work 40 miles from home and it would take me 3 to 4 days to hike home. So now my emergency “Get Home Bag” has a small tent, should I need oneTent: ✔️

Tired of Glamping with the In-Laws?
This product just may save your life AND your sanity-it’s an essential in my pack while camping or hiking. Tested in Winter under controlled circumstances (not unlike my willingness to socialize), it performed remarkably well considering it’s such a light, thin material. One suggestion though, if you intend to get one of these for yourself: carry something to use as a closure for additional protection from the elements (and your mother-in-law), because both ends are wide open. Stay safe out there!

Very practical for campers
We liked the utility of this survival gear shelter. It can be used as a tiny tent, or as an extra tarp. On the downside, the tent is too small to be comfortable for sustained camping for two people, but it is easy to set up in order for two people to ride out a storm. I will always attach one tent to my backpack.

Seems to be good quality
Seems to be made of strong material. My only complaint is I thought I had ordered orange, somehow I ordered green….why an emergency survival tent is even available in camo colors is beyond me but wasn’t worth the hassle to exchange. The saving grace I guess is the forest green is quite shimmery so its easier to spot

Small, but Immeasurable
I’m amazed by it’s compact folded size. Haven’t had an emergency to use it yet, but I know I’m prepared when it happens.

Compact
This is by far one of the most compact survival tents I have ever come across. I am very happy with its size when rolled and stored. It fits inside one of my Molle pouches, along with a Mylar rain poncho, and a fire starter. With room to spare. This is literally perfect for my bug out bags and hiking bag, and I fully intend on buying many more of these. Both in orange and green. And giving them out as gifts, these are literally perfect.I watched and read many reviews before deciding on this product and I am 100% satisfied I made the right decision, they are tear resistant, light, and compact. “If you mind your ounces pounds will take care of themselves” and this tent is absolutely proof of that.I will absolutely recommend this product to anyone on the market. And this is now my go to for building hiking and bug out bags.

One time use life saver !!
First off I’d like to point out how lite this is. It’s almost weightless in my hand. Very happy with that aspect. However the claim that it’s durable enough for multiple use is a far stretch from the truth. This is a one and done product. It does stretch however it stretches to the point of wrinkling into worthlessness. It gets so thin when stretched and it stretches very easily. So I can only imagine setting it up and rolling around on the inside of it with next to no cushion between you and the hard ground would mangle this fabric over night. That being said…… it’s an emergency option! I only want it it work once! If god forbid I ever need it , I’d promptly buy a new one after it’s use. Also another huge plus side for me is that the stuff sack is very over sized. I purchased both the tent and the bivi from life tent. Not only did both the tent and bivi fit into the stuff sack there was enough room for an Altoids tin fire kit as well. This gives you shelter, warmth in the form of reflective material and in the form of fire. Also wards off unwanted guests at night and allows you to boil water and cook some kind of food with the addition of some kind of metal cup.All in all I think it’s a fantastic product. But just keep in mind, this is a one time use save your life product.

Not bad
The material was thinner than i was expecting. It’s essentially a larger emergency blanket. I tested a corner and it stretched rather than ripped. This definitely will serve a purpose, but i will most likely find another option.
