    It works and looks pretty cool to wear…

    While watching “Dual Survival” on Max/Fire Tv I decided to attempt a fire with my new necklace. I went out to my backyard fire pit and collected some kindling from my compost pile, mainly left overs from last years garden. I was skeptical about using a 1″ ferrocerium rod with a 3/4″ ceramic striker. I scraped the paint off the rod and with the diagonal angle on the ceramic striker, using full length strokes I was able to start a fire after several strikes. I selected this necklace because It is more ornamental than other fire start necklaces with the brown leather and white ceramic. I also like the smaller profile because I find myself wearing it everyday. I’m very happy that it works…

    An intriguing piece

    Off the bat, I’ve never used it to light a fire. I wear it just in case I need to. But asthetic wise, people are intrigued by the look. Maybe it’s because I’m Asian, but they think it’s more mystical or has deeper meaning. When they ask what it means I just reply, it means “firestarter”.

    Counterfeit Chinese Product

    These are coming directly from China and are knockoffs.There are original USA-made fire starter necklaces that are much better quality. They cost a little bit more, but are worth supporting American innovation over these Chinese counterfeits.

    Small but a nice gift

    The round leather necklace is sturdier than I thought. This will make a great gift for my eldest grandchild, who is 8 years older than my son when he proudly set a fire in the bathroom sink with a flint & steel. (His father was right there).

    Love this thing! It’s everything I hoped.

    This Firestarter necklace is so awesome ,i wear it every day. It looks really good, I’ve gotten compliments. People are surprised when i say it’s a striker. I would buy it again. It is very functional and creates massive sparks.

    la verdad luego de la pandemia e querido salir a convivir mas con la naturaleza! cambiar de aires y sentir el espacio (quiero pescar , sentir que puedo pender mi fogata, ver las estrellas y aun que es en la camioneta levantar mi campamento ^^ ) parte de eso era traer conmigo mi pulsera paracord, mi collar con pedernal, mi llavero con lampara, mi kit para construir una caña de pescar (spoiler atrape /pesque una rama xD ) y todo en un espacio para hacer campamentos (bueno ya es algo) PERO el collar esta tan bonito que no me atreví a rasparlo. 10/10 la cuerda es cómoda y el pedernal es estéticamente bonito (para la otra acamparemos en la playa!!! )
