Good heat output for a little stove

It is the perfect first stove. It is pretty small so make sure you aren’t trying to heat a big tent

    Small, but works well

Edit: after three burns, this thing is falling apart. Sides are rusting, the flue closes itself, leaks like crazy. You get what you pay for…This is the first stove I’ve ever owned, so keep that in mind. The stove puts out a lot of heat, but it is thirsty. This could be me not using it quite right, but at one point it was 98 degrees in the tent and 15 degrees outside.I do wish it was 3-4 inches taller. It does sit low. I also ended up getting a separate spark arrestor to be safe. I wouldn’t want to carry it too far by hand to camp, but it was fine in my sled that I drug a mile out when testing. Also, do a pre-burn with this outside before using it in a tent or anywhere else. The paint stinks like crazy until it’s cured.

    Too small

It’s to small for really cold weather and it sits to close to the tent floor and almost ruined my tent but it is a good little heater

Cool Stove without Breaking the Bank!!

The media could not be loaded.

Pretty cool stove for the cost. Definitely on the cheaper made side but with care it should be a great starter hot tent stove. My first burn i cooked up 4 hefty hamburger patties and they were delicious! Cant wait to get it in my tent!!

    Smoke problems

It’s leaking smoke from everywhere. I got smoke poisoning just from running it for few hours. I don’t know who’s smart idea was to build it with massive hole on top or make doors that doesn’t seal but it’s unusable really… also it’s bit too small because you have to feed it every 30-40min and every time you open the door more smoke just rushing out. Glass panel basically useless unless you going to clean it every time you use it because whole thing is so small, plus smoke is escaping from there too. Massage to designer :It’s need to be few inches taller and hole and glass panel needs to go, door opening needs to have a inch or 2 top lip to kip the smoke in and 4-6inch wider. definitely larger pipe 3inch or more. better door seal and handles maybe wold be good idea to add removable ashtray?

    Rain fall and Ash collector

This had worked very well. For the size it did come with what is showed in the picture. With it had a cover for the top of the stovepipe to prevent small animals like birds and rain from going into the pipe. And had a better way to remove the collected ash. After sleeping over night with wood getting added throughout to stay warm the ash was over the grate that it came with. Had to wait for it to finish burning to remove the grate and scoop out the ash. Would be nice to take the scraper and fit it under the grate to remove the collected ash.

    OVERALL A GOOD STOVE

Body is well made and seems like it’s going to be a good stove. The Pipes are a bit flimsy but if you know what you are doing, you could make things work. We haven’t used it yet but the company is very accommodating if you have an issue. Overall, this is a decent choice if you are on a fixed income like we are. We feel good knowing that if there is an emergency, we won’t freeze to death with this in our preps. thank you TUYGH!
