Not Sure Bout This…
Well, I’m a little disappointed in this. They call it a tent, but it really is just a glorified mylar triangle. It probably is a more durable mylar than the average, but it’s still rather flimsy for what I would call a tent, even an emergency one.Plus, there’s no way to tack it down on the bottom. All the photos must be super photoshopped cuz they show it all nice and rigid with two happy faces smiling out of it. But, in reality, it just sits flimsily on the ground. IF you happen to be lucky and find two trees you can stretch the single provided rope between, and IF you happen to have absolutely flat ground AND no wind, you’ll be fine.Don’t know. I was expecting a bit more substance to it. But in terms of value for the price, if it saves your life in a pinch, it’ll do.

Bigger than you think but soft.
Idk whose big hands they show but the tent is bigger than shown. It is 1 and a half of my hands height and both hands to wrap around it. It came in a really cool paper tube that fit snuggly and made shipping nice. The tent is thin and touch sensitive. I believe it maybe a one time use item and for a bug out bag perfect. I will be looking for something sturdier for emergency use in my car.

Great value
Bought this to add to our emergency go bag. Haven’t used it yet, but after inspecting it, believe it will be more than sufficient in an emergency.

More like a heavy garbage bag
It’s definitely a one time use. Material is more like a heavy garbage bag. I didn’t unroll it all the way because it’s intended or survival. I pulled on it and it was able to tear very easily.

Good for one off use
Have not used it yet but it looks to be good to use in an emergency or as a one off and set up one time. I think it would hold up if used with some care for multiple days but not sure how it would hold up if set up more than once. I will get another to gift to friends with the same explanations.

Just don’t die
I hope i never need it, but this would definitely keep you dry overnight. I got it as an emergency tent and it would fit that role quote well. The only reason i went with 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mylar creases in the package a bit, which could lead to a holes if one isn’t careful. Otherwise It’s great.

Seemed like a good thing to throw in the plane, boat, truck, etc., It’s lightweight, and packs away pretty small. Hoping we never test it.

small package, easily packed
I have no idea how well this “survival” tent will turn out. I hesitate to open and set it up as I just might not get it back into its package. It is, after all, for survival purposes, not regular use. But, I am interested into just what charities a part of my purchase money is given. That is something the seller can provide but hasn’t.

Don’t Camp In The Woods Without It!
This is a great emergency tent to have in your backpack. As you know, things can go south in a hurry out there & thistent is quick to set up, warm (or cool), and can be the differencebetween you hiking out or taking a helicopter ride.I have 4 of them, one for each of my backpacks.Buy it!

Worlds toughest? I doubt that…
Pros: nice packaging, big, and comes with Parachord for setting up.Cons: I doubt that this tent is the worlds toughest survival tent. First off, the material is made out of cheap plastic. It feel fragile in your hands like wrapping paper. It’s so thin that winds could blow the tent away back to Kansas along with Dorothy and Toto. The material is super thin, like less than paper thin. Sure it may keep water out or block you from the sun, but use it in a thunderstorm or a day with wind gusts, it’s likely to tear through the parachord.I only bought it because it was on a lightening deal. Honestly, I would use this as a last resort. Be better off buying a small, compact Coleman tent from Walmart.

Received product today and initial thoughts are that this product is probably a one or two time use product. It is basically a Mylar space blanket painted orange on one side. It’s not especially thick and I’m not sure it would hold up in a storm or in rough ground.

Small and potentially useful
Great to throw in the trunk along with other “In Case of Emergency” items. I paired this with one of those assorted item survival kits. I also keep a few bottles of water and some meal bars along with it. Not like I’m looking to get stuck somewhere, but knowing I can fend for myself for a bit if it happens is reassuring.

Tsunami Zone
I live in Tsunami zone, trying to fill up a backpack with everything you need so you can walk out with it, is difficult. I obviously hope I don’t need to use this backpack or the tent. However this tent is in a great container and seems durable and still fills the bill of being lightweight .

Its hard to review something that you do not intend to open unless the SHTF. So meanwhile I just say the pack and weight was satisfactory and I have slapped it in that bug out bag where it is not taking up much room. Will update should both Amazon and I survive the Apocalypse.

Purchased this tent to my Husband. We chose the orange colored one. It is long enough to close one end and go through the other. It is definitely warm and it has a bottom (you can set it up in triangular shape) so you have one layer between you and the ground.

Expensive but high quality Bug Out Bag or Emergency Kit item.
I own a DDitW emergency sleeping bag that is part of my daily hiking gear. So when I saw this on a Lightning Deal, I picked it up, and am happy I did. Hopefully like my bag I’ll never have to use it.The material seems sturdier than a normal emergency blanket, paracord is included, and it comes in a nice case. Only weighs a few ounces. Sure, it’s nothing but a tube of Mylar, but it’ll do the trick if called on. It’s not a tent, but heck, many through hikers sleep under a tarp, so it’ll provide reasonable protection from the elements if set up properly.Durability will of course be an issue if used often, but I hope to never use it. Overall a good buy and worth a few bucks more than generics.

I haven’t used this yet
I wanted to write a review. I haven’t used this tent yet. It’s for emergency purposes. I’m sure it would do the job intended. But the fact that it’s open on both ends is kind of not good. If it’s raining, the rain would come in. If you’re in the woods, and it’s not raining the mosquitoes will get in. If it snows, that will get in and it will remain cold inside. So anyone purchasing this will need to figure out how to solve that problem if they purchase. But for an emergency shelter, something is better than nothing and you could always do a little bushcrafting to the back and add a fire to the front.

know what you are getting this is open on both ends and is for emergency use only. if you are trapped in the woods over night in the rain this would be a life saver. if you are going on a 5 day backpacking trip look for a real tent.

Functional
Ended up needing to use this one night after a thunderstorm held us up while we were on the wrong side of a ridge walk above tree line. When we finally descended, we decided to shelter and sleep for a few hours. I used my trekking poles to hold the head and foot section taut. Otherwise would’ve looked like the silver one on the right in my pic. Barely wide enough for me and my 60 pound dog, but it was wide enough. If it had been 2 actual people it would’ve been very very tight.Lightweight and durable. I did fold it up and put it back in the pouch but it probable only has one more use in it.

Cool tent and very adaptable.
This is a good little tent but it seems like a one time use sort of tent. If you stretch any place on it then it does not return to original shape. However, I lined the ends with duct tape as well as the top with a strip. This simple addition made it so much more sturdy. I also put grommets in the duct tape so I can use a stake instead of just a weight in each corner. I put a grommet in the top so I could tie it off instead of running the roap all the way through. This keeps water from running down the rope and dripping on you. I feel like it can now but used over and over again. The one thing I wish it has was a bigger bag. I could not get it rolled up small enough to go back into the bag. I had to make myself a new bigger bag.

A good idea held back by a few issues.
I decided to try this tent out as I have needed a basic tent to store in my hiking bag. The tent itself is nice and does a good job providing shade during the day and heat during the evening. It has 2 issues however. The first issue is that you need to be next to trees to use it. It comes with some cord to hold it up but you need to be by trees to anchor it. This is a pain as many spots in my area don’t have trees close enough together to use the cord effectively. The other issue stems from one of the reasons I bought it in the first place, how it’s packaged. It comes in a small draw string bag which is great when you’re looking to store it in small spaces but I find that when you go to roll the tent back up and store it, it becomes a real pain. I want to love this idea but with these issues it’s hard to. 7/10
