    Starter survival kit

    I bought this product because it seemed like a good starter survival kit. It is small and not too bad on weight, but the knife included did not work. A lot of the products you might want to open and test out a little bit. The durability on some of the items might not hold up which worries me since it is meant to be for survival.

    Instead of buying everything separately, get it all in one package. Good price for all that you get. Granted, this is not top of the line quality, but it is not cheap stuff either. It is a very good deal for the price and a fast way to check off a lot of your survival list all at once.

    Not Bad for a Young Person

    Pack color was not what I ordered. I guess you can get any color you want, as long as you want black.You won’t find anything in this kit of heirloom quality. It’s mostly mid to low-tier stuff but they make up for it with quantity. I assumed that going in so I wasn’t disappointed. It was a gift for a 14 year old and it’ll all suit him just fine.Also, some friends made the same purchase the same week. We had fun comparing what was missing and included in each version. No two are alike!

    A little disappointing, but ok

    As most have stated, this is a good start to a nice kit. Several pieces are missing (1 set of parachute cord from all three kits, safety pins from two kits, fire starters from 1 kit) and not every tool is functional (1 knife is missing a few screws, so it’s not trustworthy, and I wouldn’t trust the compasses). But overall worth the sale price and not much more.

    Neat for what it is.

    Small little survival kit. Shovel is small and has the pickaxe on the reverse. Wouldn’t be used for digging a foxhole but for some minor camping and or recovery could be useful. Nice knife inside. Has a multi tool that is neat the hatchet side is sharpened like a knife opposite side is a hammer also works as plyers. Don’t think any of the gear could take a lot of abuse but the one time you need it you should be okay… Should be… Lol has assortment of bandaid type stuff. Not going to close a sucking chest wound but if that’s what you need you have bigger problems. For price and size I’d say this is a neat buy. Not a must have but not a return either.

    Nice…but with issues.

    The kit itself looks pretty nice. Much heavier made than I thought it would be.I did have 2 issues though. 1. I ordered khaki but got black. No big deal, I can live with this. 2. The flashlight that was in the kit didn’t come with a battery. After 45 minutes of trying to contact Amazon ( without success…very frustrating) to ask if they knew what kind of battery it took, I decided to go to a national Battery specialty store. They had no idea what kind of battery it took. I ended up just buying a small flashlight and putting it in the kit.I don’t know if the battery was supposed to be in there or not. I’ll try to contact Amazon again tomorrow.

    The Seller was Dgkgeul and they were fantastic, I received my item quickly and in perfect condition. I wanted to remove an earlier review with 1 star because it was meant for an other seller because I did not receive my order.     Great gift!

    I bought this for my brother for Christmas, but opened it to make sure it was worth giving first. I think it’s awesome! The boyfriend also wants one now. Lol. Only thing I wish it came with was hot hands or something along that line. He lives in Colorado and loves to hunt and fish, so cold hands are a constant. Thankfully even fully packed there’s some room to add those things for himself. It is kinda heavy with it fully packed as it came but can’t really complain for the price and all you get, it’s not going to be light as a feather. I hope he loves it when he gets it for Christmas!

    I got two of these as a gift for my teen nephews who are very outdoorsy and already have a ton of camping and fishing equipment.     Good Starter Kit

    This is a good Starter kits for hiking for survival. Most of the product feel very durable except for the knife it feels pretty cheap, but would do in a pinch. Everything arrived inside of the provided bag with no damage or issue. We are missing (2) of the Fire Starter sticks but received a fire bellows in our kit which was not listed. Overall I’m satisfied so far.

    Edit: Excellent Customer service! =Missing pieces and defective whistle…

    Edit: Customer Service reached out within a day and sent out missing pieces. I received complete set days later. A+Buy with confidence. Excellent product and service.So this set is ridiculously awesome. I wanted to 5* in a heart beat…. until… did quality control and check. In the pic the tweezers (which are quite flimsy but will suffice in most scenarios) had big piece of plastic sticking out. Had to cut it checking knife quality (B+) then checked the whistle on the spoon. Doubt you can see but a decent piece of plastic in stuck in whistle hole so won’t sound off. Then Sadly worse part bandaid section. Only 10 knuckle, 10 regular, and 18 alcohol wipes. Now… I get it… may not seem like much but I’m accident prone… so if I buy a certain amount of bandaids. I PLAN on using that amount of bandaid. Will contact seller. Hopefully fix this scenario. Will edit in the future.

    This is a great purchase! I thought it was a larger backpack, but that is probably just me. Lol. It has almost everything, and it is all compactable, perfect to keep in your emergency bag or car.The only thing that I would add is a small print out of all the gadgets so you know what they are all for. I printed out the photos for myself from Amazon. But I highly recommend ❤️

    Husband loved this

    I was having a really hard time finding a gift for my husband. After hours of looking on Amazon I came across this. I decided to get it since my husband loves pocket knives and small flashlights. It was a good choice! He loved it and let me know more gifts like it would be perfect. He keeps it in the car as an emergency kit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something to give their husband. Especially if your husband likes multi tools.I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because like some other reviews I was missing a couple things. Nothing too important. Couple bandages. And when I say a “couple” I mean two. My husband wasn’t too bummed about it and I didn’t think it was important enough to complain and send it back. I would say it was still worth the money. I would buy it again for a friend or family member.

    Nice to keep in the car after familiarizing myself with each piece.

    It’s tiny, it’s cute, it’s clever. What’s not to love. You never know when you’re going to have to jump out of your car and dig a small hole.I played with it for a little while, identifying each piece and it’s purposes, before putting the kit back together and putting it in my car. It’s better than nothing. Don’t buy this to go on a trek into deep remote woods, get real gear. That said, this is way better than nothing.If I had kids, say over age 7, I’d closely supervise them while teaching them the uses of each piece. Like summer camping in the back yard. They’ll have a blast, gain some skills and confidence. Plus, it’ll start to become obvious if you have any budding psychos on your hands. In that case, you might want to lock up the kit, along with your kitchen knives and the family pets, or gift it to someone you know who lives three or four states away.But I digress. If you go camping or have a big garden, and this kit is on a great big Prime day sale, go ahead and treat yourself.

    Actually Impressed

    I was actually really impressed. Normally, I would receive ‘prep’ kits that are complete POS; however, this one is actually well built, with great products and a fantastic bag. I really can’t say anything negative about it. Has the essentials. I added a couple of lighters , some vasiline cotton balls, and a lifestraw, but thar was all it really needed for a bushcraft bag. Sure, you can add a ton more, but it’s not a bug out bag it’s an oh-crap bag. I have nothing else bag. And with that nothing else bag you can survive for a long time, if you have the skills to use the contents. C’mont’all at tgis price point what are you expecting an complete doomsday shelter. Please. This has what you need if you need to survive….but it will depend on your ability to use it.The bag does come all thrown in there. I beleive the idea is for you to pack how you like it. Add and combine. It is a great start bag. I just don’t understand the negative comments. Actually a great survival bag.

    Most reviews are true, Will work for starters but nothing is high quality

    Specific Problems I had: The paracord bracelet seems to have a common failure point on the clip, was broken already in package. I was also missing a fire starter, more than likely it fell out through the drain hole since they are thrown in there loosely. Other than that everything seemed in good enough condition. I did not count through the first aid stuff, as I wanted to keep everything clean and in the bag it came in. Everything there seemed to be there.The Actual product: Like many have stated, you get what you paid for. However small you think it is, think a little smaller. Most tools will work but will more than likely break after use. This kit is best for emergencies and short hiking trips, and can be a good foundation place for building a bigger and better kit. I will personally be leaving it in my car and taking it on hiking trips.TL;DRTools work but are a little cheap, but would not depend my life on most of their durability. Would recommend if you don’t have anything else.

    It’s alright. Good to get started

    The things you get from it are pretty much cheap tools that arent very useful if you already have tools to do the job imo. But what you really want would be the bag. Buying the bag by itself would cost between $5-$20 if you look hard enough. You can just buy a better quality bag if you really wanted to. But it a great first bag if you are buying it for your kids or friends so they can have a first aid bag.

    Great truck kit

    Overall, great kit. I will be testing each product of this kit this weekend in the mountains. The bag seems pretty sturdy that the kit go in and the e-tool that comes with it seems really sturdy. The only issue is the glow sticks that game with it, one of them didn’t survive the shipping as the bag had a nice red glow when I opened it. Definitely recommend as definite starter survival kit.

    Not bad, but the flashlight doesn’t work

    The pack seems decent enough. I wish it were a bit more easily designed for where each item fits best. Also, the flashlight did not work at all for me. The sharpness of the axe is also in question as it seems literally too rough of an edge.

    Great quality

    This is loaded with quality products. I personally think anyone should have at least one. I will put one in all our vehicles. Even if you don’t drive I believe you should have one. I only gave a 4 for quality because I just bought one so hard to tell. It seems to be durable only time will tell. It’s compact doesn’t take a lot of room. It’ll fit in a backpack and it’s got a lot in it. Well buy again. I’m really pleased with it so far….

     Not to much to dislike here. Good kit, I think it’ll keep you alive if you actually do some practice with everything and learn it all. Don’t go to crazy with the E-tool/shovel. It’s thin metal. But if your in soft dirt go for it. Remember, practice makes progress. So practice your survival skills before you put yourself into that bad situation.

    Smaller than expected but good for the car

    Not what I expected…

    Everything was okay…but none of the knives or anything that is supposed to be sharp was sharp. Especially the axe😐, and also the bag that the shovel goes was broken when I first got it. I expected the bag to be bigger and also the tweezers don’t work either. But I don’t mind that I have my own tweezers that I’ll use along with my own knifes.

    Great gift for someone outdoorsy

    Got this for my brother in law and got to scope it out before giving it over. Lots of cool trinkets and light weight.Only issue is I ordered khaki and got black.It was too late to return. But the seller had the bag labeled with the incorrect color.

    Not bad, almost perfect

    I like the kit a lot, it comes with some great tools! but there is 1 problem, my kit did not come with the flashlight as listed. 9.9/10
