As Advertised… but Read the Description Thoroughly Before Buying
The media could not be loaded.
My Pictures and Videos attached to this review really show how cheaply made this is. It’s smaller than expected and while I knew the pictures in the description were trying to make this look like higher quality (as advertising is intending) and not really displaying the canvas of the pouch despite mentioning it in the description, I didn’t expect this lack of quality. It’s still useful for foraging and collecting, however I wouldn’t use this for collecting anything of value, something you really wouldn’t want to lose, or anything heavy. The leather is thin and the canvas is also thin enough to question how this will hold anything heavy without breaking at the leather with a few hikes’ worth of use. I bought this for fossil/geode/rock collecting and I’m just not 100% happy with the obvious difference in quality from what was advertised. I haven’t broken it in so I’m not sure how well it’ll hold together with items such as rocks with jagged edges or dirty shells/fossils and I’m not sure if I’ll even try to use it for what I bought it for. For lighter items, I’m sure this will be perfect but this wasn’t exactly what I was hoping to get when I checked my mail.Some Pros: It does fold and store easily however I can feel the buttons struggling to stay properly set into the leather when I take the buttons apart. **Use caution pulling the buttons apart from each other so the leather doesn’t tear around the buttons.** The folding does make it easier to store. The attachment for a belt is nice and will be easy to keep on-hand during hikes. The drawstrings are thick and will tie together nicely to keep the pouch closed tight if needed.Overall, 3/5 stars. Not what expected but still useful for light foraging and collecting.

Very Nice But Smaller
Just received this. It looks fairly well made but you should be aware that the picture makes it look bigger than it is. It’s a gift so I’ve left it in the see-through plastic wrap but i don’t think once unwrapped it will look any bigger. I still think it’s very nice but don’t expect it to fit much more than a handful of mushrooms, rocks, chaga or whatever you’re foraging for.

Check who the seller is!!!
This is a great mushroom bag and I have ordered a few of them now. But watch out, there is a seller on here by the name of Lemongrass-, who sells cheap quality look-a-likes. I recently ordered some more pouches but when they came in the leather was paper thin, the canvas material felt cheaper, and the color brown I ordered was more of a red-brown

Tough bag for all the random goodies you find in the woods
This bag is valuable not only for the obvious berries and mushrooms but it’s also got a tougher outer shell for random like glass knickknacks and rocks my wife finds in the woods. No more using the dog poop bags.

Not Waxed
First, I’d agree with the other critical reviews in that the leather is really thin and will probably break after much use/weight. The thing that I find the most irritating is that the bag is definitely not waxed. It’s probably not a make or break deal for most people, but having waxed canvas myself previously, it’s the effort that matters.

Not great manufacturing quality.
It works well enough, but one of the snaps doesn’t snap at all. I didn’t know it was possible to buy a snap that didn’t work. It would be much better if made with slightly higher quality parts and some QA.

Button broke first time opening
Ordered this bag for digging roots and mushrooms when I walk through the woods, just arrived today and I took it out if it’s bag, and opened it up and first thing one of the buttons for attaching it to my belt came apart, the canvas part is nicely done, but the buttons are poor quality, I wanted something that would hold up during long hikes and things like that but it broke first thing it was opened

Nicely built, but a few minor things could have been better.
The product is built well except for the drawstring ties and unburnished edges. In the photo it has wooden beads that I had to replace the leather cut outs with to keep it closed correctly. Also the edges of the leather needed some burnishing since it was just a raw cut edge. Other than that it’s a nicely done product.

Well Made, Sturdy Bag
I used this bag for foraging all weekend and it was great. The design allows for it to be folded up when it isn’t in use and unfolded when you need it. It won’t be easily punctured by sticks and can hold plenty of mushrooms or leaves.

Not as advertised.
It’s a nice gathering bag, but the holder is not leather. Very disappointed in that since it advertised it was leather and canvas. Luckily I had some 8oz leather to sew up another holder so I removed the pleather one it came with and attached the one I made. Now it is as it should have been and will last a lifetime.

Keeps both hands free to grab more goodies!
This pouch is super handy for walks along the creek bed. Usually I have a hard time holding onto all the trinkets and stones. Now that I have both hands free I dont worry about setting things down and forgetting them. When you are done with it you can fold it back up for easy storage.

Not durable at all.
Really disappointed in these. I purchased 3 recently and 2 of the 3 failed on their first use. The strap to hold them on a belt failed at the stitching on both. The pleather just isn’t strong enough there. Recommend going with a different brand.
