    Great multitool with some cool features

    I really like this multitool. It has some cool features including a really nice size pair of scissors that can be detached from the main unit. This is unlocked by opening the driver all the way then pushing the scissors down. The extra bits are handy as well along with the case. Both knives have locks and all the tools seem nice. The biggest negative I have for my person daily use it’s a bit to big and heavy. This would be perfect for fishing or if your a handy man. Great tool to have in your bag for that type of thing but not something I would want to carry around everyday.

    Best Multitool

    I’ve had plenty of multi tools. This is the best so far. Wish it had a toothpick and tweezers like the Swiss, but that’s about all it’s missing. Pliers actually have rebound tension; a very rare feature. Knife is solid, far more significant than on most multi tools.

    Heavy and sturdy multitool

    Earliest impression: This is “built like a battleship” and likely to survive for decades. The fit and finish are among the best I’ve seen, up there with more expensive Leatherman and Ganzo.Scissors, pliers, knife, and the way of using screwdriver bits are the highlights. Scissors (my highest priority) cut cleanly, and are largest I’ve seen in a multitool = most varied uses. Handy to be able to detach them. Pliers jaws fit perfectly together, with nicely long wire cutting edges (don’t appear to be replaceable). The bit kit has a helpful selection of nine, the magnetic adapter’s mounting point on the tool is a useful Philips crosshead screwdriver, and the mounting point is nicely centered on the end of the tool. The knife blade rivals some of my lower end (but good) folding knifes for the shape, initial sharpness, and position within hand when the blade is deployed. Nice to see it has a familiar liner lock and a stud, so the blade can be deployed and closed with one hand by a right handed person. These highlights leave a feel of engineering refinement by people who use large multitools.The only notable negative I see initially is that the heavy tool is imbalanced in the hand compared to having separate tools. As a screwdriver it has a really thick and heavy handle so it could be fatiguing to turn screws for a long time. It is best to detach the scissors to use them. As a knife it has a really thick and heavy handle … You get the picture; the compromises to make this a heavy duty device reduce its usability compared to simpler multitools, for example a lightweight Leatherman Skeletool which makes a great knife, pliers, and four-bit screwdriver if that is all you need. Comparably priced Gerber Suspension Nxt may be a better choice for someone wanting diverse tools in a more compact and lighter package.Bottom line: Strong endorsement for those wanting heavier duty and with large hands and strong forearms.

    Great item!! Read review to understand low score.

    Great seeming product seems to be sold to me slightly used though I paid for a brand new product. Few smudge marks oily looking on the blade. And a scratch mark on the interior upon lifting the blade up. Beautiful peace I do recommend buying but for me I am going to give a low score for what we could say is a certain lackadaisical quality inspection upon sending to a buyer that was exited to use this item on the job giving great promotion. Gotta take care of the customer regardless of how we feel, But Good Job on the design guys I will be using this piece daily.

    Great tool

    This is a great tool to use it has every thing you need it for for what ever reason you need these things. The only thing that could improve is by making the cutters on the pliers a little sharper. They are extremely dull. In order to actually cut something you have to have a grip strength of over a thousand. Also the scissors blade kinda breaks when cutting.

    Real value for the money

    Solid build with tools I need. Liked having a pouch and bits included. The tools were a little stiff to get out but not bad-I’m sure will get easier with use. (I’ve only had this a day).I really like the detachable scissors-much more useful than the little ones you get with more expensive tools.Only improvement would be to have a bit that allowed you to work on the tool-the T bit that comes with it is too big. Otherwise I recommend this tool.

    Completely Unacceptable Response.

    This multitool broke within less than an hour of delivery. The scissors spring that opens the jaws of the scissors slipped out of its position. This meant that the jaws of the scissors no longer opened, after making a cut. Instead, you must pry the scissors open after each snip. That’s very poor design.The thing that really angers me though, is the company’s response to my complaint. Instead of immediately offering to replace the product and provide a prepaid return label, so that I could send the defective product back to them; they responded with an email telling me that I must make a video for their engineers to examine, that demonstrated the problem for them to study. Then they would decide whether or not to honor their warranty and replace the defective product.It is not my job to make videos for their engineers to study. I have far better things to do with my time than to indulge the whims of the manufacturer of a defective product and create videos for their edification. Their response to my complaint was completely unacceptable. It seems clear to me that the real purpose of their response was to place an unreasonable condition upon them honoring their warranty. sand thus avoid fulfilling their responsibilities as the manufacturer of a defect consumer product..

    Cool

    This thing is pretty cool. It’s heavier than expected and has all the essential tools you want in a multi tool. Great for the price. It took forever to get because the package was forwarded to my new address instead of being left at my moms, which was the designated shipping address. I wanted this for a hiking trip but it didn’t arrive in time, but I cannot wait to have it for the next.

    RoverTac Multi-Tool

    Initial inspection/examination of this Multi-Tool is it looks great and has some heft to it! I really like that the scissors are near full size and detach from the tool so as can be used independently and the locking “real knife blade” has a great dual edge on it.The driver and different bit options are a nice touch but would feel better if it locked in place.

    Two small things kept it from being perfect to me

    I’m a woman so my hands are slightly smaller, and this tool is pretty bulky. I was actually a little worried when I took it from the box because of the thickness. However when holding the tool it manages to be comfortable and usable so that is a win. the weight is also not bad.All of the pull outs were very easy to pull out except for the screwdriver. That was just impossible for me. I don’t have long nails but it completely broke my thumbnail. I resorted to a metal shim after trying the flat head screwdriver that was included.With that I was able to open it and work it back and forth a bit to try and see if that would loosen it. It did somewhat but I was still unable to open it with my fingers alone. I thought perhaps the vendors had included a bit to use on the multi-tool itself, but they used a star bit which was not included. I’m sure I can dig a bit up somewhere, but I think that would be a nice touch to add, since it would allow me to loosen or tighten as needed. Overall I like it, and I will probably throw a little star bit in there so that if I were in a situation where I needed that screwdriver I would be able to get at it.

    Good tool at a good price

    This is a medium quality multitool,for the price is an excellent buy.several utilities tools in one,bigger than others but the weight is fair in comparison with the utilities it has,the big scissors is a plus,drivers bits,a nice big blade and pliers among others makes this multitool an option for people like me that cannot afford a $ 70 Leatherman tool..I think time will tell..hope it will last several years with proper use and care..people complaining about the tool or some utility broken you should contact the company under the warranty it has the company must replace tool if it gets corroded or broken under a fair amount of time..I don’t believe in unlimited time warranty for this tools price but is important to know if the company will respect the warranty policy.overrall IAM happy till now

    It’s a great cheap tool

    I am a mechanic for a plant and it’s great to have a multitool as sometimes I need to fix something small. This tool is pretty great for that. I love the large scissors, they are great for cutting plastic airlines.I do wish there was an internal flathead though, instead of as an extra bit. Also, the case for it could be made a little better: First, by reducing the height of the sides so the tool can be grabbed easier. The second, is adding a pocket for the extra bits; they get in the way of storing the tool sometimes.Overall, not a bad tool at all. It has served me for a couple weeks now with no problem.

    Knife

    It was a great knife. Set up was smart and easy to use. The problem was that the knife became blunt VERY quickly and I was not using it roughly AT ALL! It was a disappointment. Other than that, I enjoy this knife. Just have to find a place to sharpen it which is not easy to do.

    Love the scissors

    A little too heavy for my taste.The bits should have their own pocket but they don’t. They go in the same pocket as the tool.I would like the Velcro on the sheath to be better or have a snap, but it’s ok.I would feel better if the belt loop was more heavy duty.

    Love it, but the screwdriver is hard to open

    I’m giving the RoverTac Multitool Knife 5 stars, because it’s cool, blades are sharp, everything feels steady and firmly fixed, though the screwdriver is pretty hard to open.To loosen it up I sprayed WD-40, it helped a bit, but still – not for my nails. So, I started using one of the screwdriver heads from the batch to open the screwdriver. It will probably scratch it after a while, but it’s a tool, anyways.A bit annoying is that if you want to detach the scissors, you first have to open the screwdriver, which is as I said pretty hard to open. But it is possible to use the scissors while they are still attached to the whole knife. So, there is no really need to detach them. Overall, a very good tool. Love it.

    Good Multitool

    I ordered this multi tool several days ago, and I have to say that I’m satisfied!It has multiple functions, each of which performed well! My favorite part was that the pliers even had wire strippers!The weight in the hand is significant and balanced.It comes with a belt holder. It’s decent. It also holds the extra bits nicely, along with the multi tool.I have a pocket knife that I had carried on a daily basis. While this multi tool is bigger, it included a proper pocket knife, that rivaled the one I carried.Overall, I’m impressed.Update: I ended up using my multitool when I needed to replace a headlight on my car. My car requires that I pull back the plastic in the wheelhouse to get to the bulb. You cannot get to the bulb from the hood of the car. I used the multitool to undo several hexagonal screws, and pull out several plastic hooks. — It worked well, in a pinch. Replacing the bulb in the auto parts store parking lot.

    very convenient tool

    My tool game with some kind of oil all over the screw driver bits, and the Phillips screw driver/bottle opener is a challenge to open but other than that this multitool is great! I bought it for camp incase anyone breaks down while we’re riding. Comes in a good case with a belt loop so you can carry it hands free if needed. The users manual wasn’t too helpful but it wasn’t too difficult to find all the little tools.

    Great Value

    I run a security detail with a 24/7 site with 6+ gates. within 24hours of receiving this and having it on my belt. I had a gate bar broken off the gate machine. I was able to repair it with this tool. Has a lot of things and utility available on the fly. It looks clean and the holster for it is simple and functional

    Amazing product!

    My husband really liked this, But the 3rd week he had this the pocket protector broke so I emailed the Seller to get another one they never replied so I had to purchase another one. I would not recommend this seller. I couldn’t even have it fixed, most sewing places can’t fix this. And with no response from the seller I had to purchase another one.

    Tool broke after less than 2 months.

    Tool broke after less than 2 months. Dropped it and it broke at the pliers. I’m going to try and upload a photo. And I will try to get a refund or a replacement. Other than it breaking this is a good tool.

    Great utility knife horrible holster

    The knife is good and great design, however the holster is a totally different story, it ripped in a week and I almost lost it forever if it wasn’t for the fact I looked down ro see it in the ground, I tried reaching customer care and never got a respond back, theres definitely a quality control issue for the holster, its no use to me if I cant carry it…. Very dessapointing….

    Better than most

    Of the several ive bought and tried out this one is the best by far.Not many accessories but the ones that exist are the ones that are useful. Scissors are built in kinda clever, but watch your fingers folding them back up … seriously, watch your fingers. 3xs now the spring locking mechanism has snapped down and i thought my finger was a goner.The nut attchments hold and store well. Id buy it again.

    Well worth the money.

    This is a great multi tool for the price. I bought it for an emergency kit I was putting together. The scissors were an option I was particularly interested in and they are great!
